LifeGroup is the heart of The Church and is the key to a healthy church body. Jesus, as always, is the model for church structure. He taught at large gatherings, but then He would withdraw to fellowship with His LifeGroup—His twelve disciples. We use this model as a foundation to build our LifeGroup foundations. We teach that LifeGroup is where believers fulfill all 5 purposes of The Church (see Our Purpose). It is a place where individuals create more deep and rooted relationships within the body of Christ and where needs are met that otherwise The Church may not be able to meet. LifeGroup is a place where its members are family and go through the ups and downs of life, encourage one another, lift each other up in times of hardships, and develop a stronger relationship not only with each other but with Jesus Christ too. LifeGroup is the blood that flows through the body of Christ and makes an impact in the lives of others and the community.
